I'm feeling a little conflicted at the moment. My boobs are over. Pretty much totally over. Pictures like this are so beautiful, but they also make me feel sad. I don't know quite how to feel better about ageing. Has anyone got advice?
Oh Jo ... that's sad! But pleasure's not a competition. I'm well aware that all the people in eyecandy pics are younger than I am, and better-looking than almost anyone I've ever met. That's *why* people bother to take pictures of them and put them on t'Interwebs!
I mustn't stop enjoying beauty because mine is past (or never was).
The bigger question re How to feel better about aging ... Hmm ... You're hoping for a practical answer from a writer? We spend our real lives in our imaginations, where we are as young or beautiful or as sucessful as we want to be. Writers are escapist artists, I'm afraid. We cope with reality by not facing up to it at all :-)
