It is completely true, btw - try reading the Bible, starting at the beginning, and pay attention to what it actually says and not what you were told by preachers or learned as out of context quotes.
It's full of surprises. Most of them really really unpleasant.
I was raised an environment that did not push religious beliefs and when I did read the bible later in life, it was much different I'd been led to believe.

Ah but, Chris ... you speak as a geek who would instantly recognise Dr Doom! Dr Evil has a wider media profile ;-)
