Wooop! I had the sudden and very happy opportunity of seeing The Waterboys play live this week!
This is unexpected compensation for me not being at the Cropredy Festival this year to see them play there - because I'm at Nine Worlds Geekfest instead.

And it finally makes up for the time, years ago, when I went to see The Waterboys and the acoustics in the hall were so goddamn awful that the lead singer could not be heard over the drums.
I can die happy now ;-)
