Oh, I know how you feel. I'm never sure if my romantic stuff should go out under the same name as my hardcore stuff. Does it stretch my readership or just put them off?

Yeah. :( But, I swear, there are some really sweet ones in there too! Bathhouse is a good example.
Sadly, that is one really, really good reason I should split my byline. :)
