Eyecandy Monday
It's 5th November, which is Bonfire Night here in the UK. So this Eyecandy is brought to you in the interests of Health and Safety: play safe folks! Don't mess about with the fireworks! Keep a firefighter handy for emergency conflagrations!
Personally I can't wait until it's all over for another year, and the dog is no longer so scared to go outside that he pisses in the kitchen . . .

I'm very happy to say that a crack down on illegal fireworks has really decreased the amount of them used here - that and the recession has meant an end to the two months of bangers and fireworks we used to endure from the estate behind us. I had a lovely little Halloween this year, but there was mayhem in Dublin - ambulances stoned (wtf??) and Dublin Bus stopped running due to 'anti-social' (read CRIMINAL) behaviour. So stupid.
Great pic, btw. As one of the mums said when we were looking at the photos from my daughter's visit to the firestation, 'I's slide down HIS pole'!
lol!
Yes, if firefighters all looked like that when they turned up, there'd be a serious problem with arson!
On the serious subject - Personally, I wish they'd ban private firework sales, though I know that'd piss off a lot of my friends. But dog-owners don't like fireworks, as a rule. I'm glad things have improved round your place.
After getting hit in the chest with fireworks (um, twice), I stopped playing with them during our annual visits to the family cabin.
Of course, the next year, they pretty much made anything but sparklers illegal, so I won't be able to inflict Spawn with the same terrors as I enjoyed. Not sure if I like that though, because I learned a lot about explosives from fireworks.
But, if I can have that guy in the picture when I play with it, that would be fantastic. k?
Hmm. Steep learning curve there t'Sade!
