TftD: Tangled...

... Bondage and female-dominance  for beginners?

Incidentally, Mr Ashbless and I both really liked this movie. Funny, character-driven romance, with a great supporting cast, likeable hero and heroine, and a hot villain. Totally recommended, if you haven't seen it yet.

See? I do like romance! And, following my last post,  this is one where the heroine breaks away from her mother-figure - who then stabs the hero and is killed by the heroine's animal familiar. Now that's what I call an interesting family dynamic!

I liked it too, though the witch's songs went on too long. I thought the lyric writing was a touch lazy.

I liked it, too. Felix says Disney has made a statement that says it will no longer be producing 'Princess' movies. I don't believe it. This one, I believe, is doing well at the box office. Why would Disney stop making Princess movies? It's like Random House saying they won't be publishing any more Black Lace novels. makes no sense.

Ha. Ha. Ha. *sigh*

My fave Disney heroines weren't princesses, anyway. I liked Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Esmeralda (Hunchback of Notre Dame) and Mulan, who all come in a bit further down the social hierarchy.
