Eyecandy Monday

Gah - the clocks have gone back. I need something happy to see me through the long darkness...

  1. Ok. Well. So, yes, it's dark. But there may be walks in the snow with the dogs again, in the sparkle and sunlight.

And it's hibernation time - to snuggle in with you and your book, til it's finished at the end of the year - and then the days start getting shorter again.

It all goes so fast. Soon it will be Spring.

  2. So now, for one week only, you're an entire hour closer to us. You can probably smell our shampoo!

  3. Aw, what great thoughts!

I've beeen writing today, and it's gone well. Writing keeps the dark away.

So does sex, of course :-)

  4. I've signed up for NaNoWriMo which will eat up a month of darkness in a flash! Then it's onto mulled wine for December, and then after all the festive partying, the New Year is more comfortable when met with diffused light and muffled sound. That gets us through to Feb, which is usually shitty, but near enough to spring that we can smell the daffodils and feel a ray of hope!

  5. Good grief, NaNoWriMo is for braver men and women than I. A novel in a month? Insane!

But I do like the sound of mulled wine :-)

  6. Nice photo, as always.

I need it to keep me warm, as our new heater is on the fritz. Fortunately, it's still early in the year. Unfortunately, it's unseasonably cold.

    Brrr!

  7. Oh, poor Craig! Think warm thoughts!
I hear parts of the US have had incredible unseasonal weather. Fingers crossed for you.

  8. I warmed the house up with a couple small space heaters and the oven, then the repairman came out yesterday, and we're back in business!
